Curlers Line Up For Coaching Evening at Fife Ice Arena

The Royal Caledonian Curling Club (RCCC) supported the second of two coaching evenings this season at Fife Ice Arena last night (10th February), which was open to all RCCC members and co-ordinated by the local development group.

Performance Development Coach Barbara McFarlane and 2012 RCCC Grassroots Coach of the Year Lorna Rennie provided coaching focused on delivery, balance and line to the group of participants who ranged from Virtual Club curlers in their early stage of curling to long standing members from a variety of clubs.

An interactive session incorporating Strategy & Tactics and angles was led by Judith McCleary (RCCC) and there were a few surprised participants at stone reactions on the ice.

If you are interested in a seminar at your local ice rink facility, why not plan ahead for next season and find out if there’s demand within your local province/area? Any queries can be directed to RCCC Development Manager Fiona Kennedy.
