Curling This Weekend 18-21 October

The Scottish Curling Tour continues on Friday 18th October at The Peak, Stirling where Team Awaken Consulting (David Murdoch, Tom Brewster, Greg Drummond, Scott Andrews and Michael Goodfellow) -who will of course be representing Team GB at Sochi 2014 later next year- will be competing against teams such as Team Gray (Logan Gray, Glen Muirhead, Ross Paterson, and Richard Woods) and Team Mouat (Bruce Mouat, Duncan Menzies, Derrick Sloan, and Angus Dowel). There are 16 teams competing in the competition which will be played in a triple knockout format with 8 teams qualifying for the finals. Two teams will qualify from the A road, three teams from the B road and three from the C road. To follow the event visit

Asham U21 Slam Kinross 3The next leg of the European Junior Curling Tour is in Oslo this Friday 18th with the final taking place on Monday 21st October. 12 boys’ and 12 girls’ teams will be competing in the competition, with three teams from Scotland taking part against teams from Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Norway, Russia and Austria. Team Brydone will be representing for the boys, while Team Aitken and Team Martin will be representing for the girls. Team Aitken will be hoping to continue their success from the recent EJCT event at Braehead where they claimed first prize.
