Curling This Weekend 24 – 26 January

The German Masters begins this weekend on Friday 24th January and runs until Sunday 26th January in Hamburg, Germany. Scottish teams Gray and Hardie will be competing against another 18 teams from 9 other countries, including last year’s finalists Team Stjerne from Denmark and current European Champions, Team Michel from Switzerland. The competition will be played in a round robin format over 4 groups of 5 teams. The final will be taking place at 13:00 on Sunday 26th January.

PrintThe Scottish Curling Junior Championships continues at Curl Aberdeen and will conclude with the Junior Men’s and Women’s Finals at 2:15pm on Sunday 26th January.
The round-robin stages are still in progress for both the men’s and women’s events to determine the three qualifiers who will then play a mini Page Play-off: Team one will play team two with the winner qualifying for the final, the loser will then play team three in the semi-final. The winners of the competition will go on represent Scotland in the World Junior Championships which will take place in Flims, Switzerland from 26th Feb to 5th March 2014.
