Curling This Weekend: From 1st October

The second Asham Under 21 Slam event of the season, will be held at Kinross Curling this weekend, from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th October.

The Asham Under 21 Slam comprises four events and was introduced to improve the pathway structure for junior curlers. Under 21 teams can develop their potential in competition formats that simulate experiences at national finals. Points from each event will be totalled together to determine the overall male and female Slam winners, each being awarded £1000 prize money.

Current leaders in the men’s competition, Team Whyte and women’s competition Team Aitken, will both be taking part in this event, but so too are current second placed women’s and men’s teams Team Bryce and Team Carson respectively, who are just four points behind the leaders.
