Curling this weekend: What’s On 2-4 Nov

Hannah Fleming returns to Canada this weekend to defend her JSI OVCA Junior Superspiel title in an event which takes place at Ottawa, Granite, Carleton Heights, City View, Navy and Manotick Curling Clubs from 2-4 November.

World Junior Curling Champion Fleming and her team of Lauren Gray, Jennifer Dodds and Abigail Brown (pictured) will face strong competition from some of the best junior curlers in the world in the competition which features teams from Switzerland, the USA and every province east from Manitoba to Newfoundland.

Lorna Vevers’ Performance Squad team of Sarah Reid, Alice Spence and Kay Adams, travel to Sweden for the Stockholm Ladies Cup which runs from 2-4 November at the Danderyd Curling Arena. This event is part of the Curling Champions Tour and features some of the best teams in Europe. One game per draw will be broadcast online, click Curlingkanalen! for live games.

The 2012 Inverness Skins get underway this weekend at the Inverness Ice Centre. This is the fourth event on the Scottish Curling Tour calendar and marks the 10th year of the Inverness Skins Curling Competition. The event runs from 2-4 November and 24 teams will be taking part.
