Death of Major Allan Cameron

The Royal Caledonian Curling Club is saddened to announce the death of Past President Major Allan Cameron.

Major Allan Cameron, of Allangrange, Munlochy died peacefully at Invergordon Hospital yesterday morning, aged 94.  He was President of the Royal Club from 1963-64, and he was also one of the founder members and first president of the International Curling Federation, later the World Curling Federation.

Major Cameron’s funeral will be held on Friday, 23 December, at St. John’s Arpafeelie, by Tore on the Black Isle, IV1 3UD, at 2.30pm.
