European Curling Championships 17th – 25th November – St Gallen, Switzerland

Scotland are represented in Switzerland against the finest teams of Europe by the GB Olympic teams: Team Muirhead and Team Smith. Games start on Saturday and you can find a full preview of the event here .

Asham Under 14 Slam 18th November – Curl Aberdeen

The second Asham Under 14 Slam will take place on Saturday at Curl Aberdeen. 14 teams of keen young curlers from across the country will assemble to play a series of 4 end games leading onto a high and low road with Asham Slam points and individual prizes at stake.

Grand Slam of Curling – The National 14th– 19th November – Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada

The Grand Slam of Curling rolls into Ontario for the third event of this year: The National and Scotland are represented on the men’s side by teams skipped by Greg Drummond and Bruce Mouat. With several teams ranked in the world’s top 10 playing in the European Championships, this event is a chance for Team Mouat and Team Drummond to pick up crucial ranking points and some serious prize money. The event started on Tuesday and Team Drummond sit on 2 losses and will need to win their final 2 group games to force themselves into tiebreaker contention. Team Mouat are finely poised at 1-1 and strong performances could see them in the playoff hunt.

Curling Workshop Supported by RCCC, 20th November – Ayr Ice Rink

2014 Winter Olympic Silver medallist and newly appointed development officer, Scott Andrews, will lead a workshop on Monday. This fully booked event for Ayr curlers will make use of video analysis to enable self-critique and improvement of all aspects of delivery.
