Musketeers Take Double Rink Title Three Years Running

Eleven clubs played in the Double Rink Championship at Stranraer last weekend.  The sections games were closely contested on Friday and Saturday.  The semi-finals on Sunday morning saw Dalry Union take on Reform and Kilsyth against Musketeers.  The first club to progress to the final was Reform who won both games against Dalry Union.  After an extra end in the other matches it was Musketeers who progressed to the final.

The final was nip and tuck all the way in both games and was thoroughly enjoyed by the spectators.  Musketeers took the trophy for the third year in a row.

Mary Anne McWilliam, Junior Vice President of Ladies Branch presided over the prize giving where Gail Munro presented the prizes to Musketeers on behalf of McMillan Hotels.
