New Skill Awards Assessor Course Dates For 2016

At the RCCC we are proud to operate a programme of Coach Education, combining formal qualifications that are part of the UK Coaching Certificate (UKCC) with internal courses, Continuous Professional Development (CPD), upskilling workshops and seminars.

The RCCC Skill Awards programme is designed to improve young curlers’ skills through a series of awards which become gradually more challenging. In order for the athlete to move on to the next level they must complete an assessment which tests their skills and knowledge of the sport.

With this in mind we have launched the new Skill Awards Assessor training that will upskill current assessors but also provide detailed training for those new to the process. Spilt in two sections the first workshop will focus on how the assess the colours (Red, White and Blue) athletes, followed by the metallic assessment (Bronze, Silver and Gold).

The workshops are designed to be fun, interactive and provide an opportunity for participants to share their experiences, whatever their level of curling involvement.

If you would like to find out more about the Skill Awards Assessor workshop go to RCCC Coach Education Structure.

Course dates and application forms can be found on the Course Dates page.
