Scotland Builds to Worlds at British Wheelchair Open

Team Scotland (Aileen Neilson, Gregor Ewan, Jim Gault, Angie Malone and Hugh Nibloe) completed their preparations ahead of the World Wheelchair Curling Championship at the SWCA British Open at Hamilton this week (18-20 January). This was the last opportunity to compete before the World Wheelchair Curling Championship which will take place in Lohja, Finland from the 7th to 14th February.

The competition was the 7th event for the squad this season and the team has managed to reach the finals on their last 4 outings. Team Scotland took silver at the SWCA British Open after they were defeated by Team Russia in the Final. The team will now continue their preparations before 4th February when they are due to travel to the World Championship.
