Successful 10 year Anniversary celebrations at Kinross Curling School
Kinross Curling School raised around £600 for local charities when it celebrated its 10th Anniversary on Sunday with a family fun day. It was a well attended day with people of all age groups trying some unusual on ice activities to try and win the chance to play against the ‘elite’ team of Rhona Martin, Debbie Knox, Sheila Swan and Michelle Silvera.
There was also a silent auction, a raffle, a tombola and a ‘select the winning stick’ game, all designed to raise money in aid of two good causes – CHAS, and a local playgroup, the latter in memory of John Stewart, coach and past treasurer of the KCS who died last year. Well done to everyone involved in organising and running the event and especially to Leslie Wilson who headed up the organisation committee.
Everyone is now looking ahead to another 10 years of Kinross Curling School!
