Team Scotland runners up in Richmond

Team Scotland started the Canadian Open in Richmond, BC against Team Russia and were not really in it from the off and were defeated. They then put together an 8 game winning streak that included a victory in a closely contested affair the 2014 Paralympic Gold Medalists, Team Canada. Team Scotland qualified for the gold medal game and a rematch against the 2014 Paralympic Silver medalists, Team Russia. For the second time this week Team Scotland came up just short losing 8-7. Considering this is their first competition together since Sochi, a runners up place for Team Scotland was a good result and they can build on this heading to Ottawa for the Cathy Kerr Bonspiel from November 28-30.
