The Priestfield Trophy

Yesterday Kirkcaldy Ice Rink played host to the Priestfield Trophy, a competition held annually between the Areas Standing Committee (ASC) and Ladies Standing Committee (LSC) of the Royal Caledonian Curling Club.

Just after lunch thirty-two curlers took to the ice with the ASC being victorious over the LSC in a very friendly but competitive competition. The format with each ASC team progressing after every 2 ends works well over the 8 end game, giving both teams the opportunity to socialise during the competition.

Our thanks to all at Kirkcaldy Ice Rink for an enjoyable day.

"It's mine! No, it's mine!"

"Seriously Claire, it's mine!"

"I'm worried...we can't lose to LSC two years running!"
