#WJCC2018 Official Launch Event, Curl Aberdeen
Sports fans can now make sure they bag the best seat in the house, for the World Junior Curling Championship, hosted at Curl Aberdeen, 3rd – 10th March 2018. Tickets are on sale now through EventBrite, for this prestigious, international event, which will host the best young talent from around the world; as well as some strong, local contenders!
Scotland’s current Junior Champion, Sophie Jackson, spent the morning putting local school kids, from Hazlehead Primary, through their paces; giving them just a flavour of what it takes to succeed at world level.
The 21-year-old says: ‘This is really exciting for Aberdeen, the facilities are brilliant and Scotland has such a strong curling heritage. I got involved through the ‘Curling’s Cool’ programme, a school programme run by the RCCC, it’s taken me all around the world, I’ve met my best friends through curling, here and abroad, it’s such a great sport to be involved in and I absolutely love it’
We hope the Championship will leave a fantastic sporting legacy, not just for Aberdeen, but the whole of Scotland.
We are delighted to be able to announce the event’s principal sponsor today, accountancy and business advisory firm Johnston Carmichael. We are certain this partnership will help deliver an outstanding World Junior Curling Championship, 2018.
The WJCC2018 would appreciate any support from companies and individuals in the area and have a range of sponsorship and partnership opportunities available. For more information, contact Peter Carry on 07833 479320 or email email@example.com
