Curlability Bonspiel 2022 Entry Form

The Curlability Bonspiel 2022 is open to all curlers, especially those with a disability/impairment or infirmity.  It is a fun but also competitive day of curling.

We welcome:

  • Stick curlers /Wheelchair users
  • Those with a Vision impairment
  • Those who are Deaf/hard of hearing or have hearing loss
  • Those with Autistic Spectrum conditions
  • Those with a learning disability
  • Any others who would like to join us

Entry to the competition is on an individual basis and teams will be informed on the day of the event.  Teams may be split into newcomer/experienced sections, if there is a demand.

Teams will generally play 3 games of 4 ends as well as an individual shot maker challenge.  Prizes are awarded for both the competition and the challenge separately.

Venue & Date

  • The Peak Ice Rink, Stirling on Thursday 24 March 2022.
    – Full registration and ice details will follow however it is anticipated that registration will be at 09.30

Entry Fees

£12.00 per entrant for Scottish Curling members (you must provide your membership number)
£18.00 per entrant for non-members.

Payment can be made by credit/debit card or bank transfer (BACS).
When paying by bank transfer you must reference the team name and the competition. (Sort Code: 80-02-27 Account Number: 00979468 Reference: Club Name & Competition)

Closing Date

  • 25 February 2022

Entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
Scottish Curling reserves the right to extend the entry period should spaces still be available.

Rules

Competitors will at all times abide by the current Rules of the Game
However, some adaptations may be used at the discretion of the organiser.

Code of Conduct

This event is covered by the Scottish Curling Codes of Conduct for players and their associates (coaches, parents and supporters) as well as the rules of the game and of the competition.  By entering a team and completing this online form the team and all their associates agree to abide and be bound by them.  The Code of Conduct can be found in Rules of the Game.  Any breaches of the Code of Conduct may be dealt with under the Scottish Curling disciplinary procedures and guidelines.
