Scottish Curling and Scottish Student Sport (SSS) jointly support the development of curling in universities and colleges across Scotland.
Curlers of all abilities, from total beginners to international players, are able to attend training sessions and informal matches on Wednesday afternoons. Coaching is available for complete beginners as well as those keen to improve their skills.
The student curling calendar also includes the competitive SSS League held at Dewars Centre in Perth, and the SSS Championship weekend is held at Stranraer Ice Rink in April.
For more information about student curling, or to be put in contact with your nearest club, contact either current SSS Curling group chair Gabriella Wallentin or Scottish Curling Development Manager Iain M Stewart
Scottish Curling offer a free student membership which enables curlers to play in the SSS League and Championship (a full membership is still required for entry into other Scottish Curling competitions). Click here for a Student Membership Application Form.
