The 2026/27 Scottish Curling Development Fund and Club Development Fund are OPEN!
Ready to grow curling and create new opportunities in your community?
We’re pleased to offer two dedicated funding streams, each designed to support a different part of the curling community. Whether you are a Development Group, ice rink or club, there is an opportunity to access support for projects that will help develop curling and create positive experiences for participants.
The Development Fund is focused on supporting development activity at a wider or facility level, while the Club Development Fund is designed to help individual clubs develop their membership, increase participation and strengthen their club offer.
With continued momentum around curling across Scotland, there’s never been a better time to invest in your ideas, try something new and help shape the future of our sport.

Whether you’re looking to attract new participants, strengthen your club, develop new opportunities or build on something that is already working well, we want to hear your ideas.
This is your opportunity to turn your ideas into action and make a difference to curling in your community.
All applications will be assessed by a panel comprising representatives from the Scottish Curling Sport & Communities Team, a member of the Scottish Curling Board, and the Convenor of the Membership Development Committee.

| Applications open on 21 August 2026, and will remain open until all funding has been allocated | |
| Follow up question period | 2 weeks |
| Award decision notification by | 2-3 weeks |
| Funding must be distributed | 30 April 2027 |
| Projects must be completed | 30 April 2027 |
| Reports must be submitted | 1 June 2027 |

Please note: Rinks and Development Groups that have received funding through the sportscotland Club Support Fund will not be eligible to apply to the Scottish Curling Development Fund 2026/27
