devScottish Curling has a range of different opportunities for adults to get involved with the sport and provide additional opportunities to our current members to enhance their knowledge and experience of the sport.

Club development & Seminars
Scottish Curling staff can support the development of your club in a variety of ways. Areas such as coaching coursesseminars & workshops, assistance with development planning or support for adult programmes are some of the many opportunities we can support.

Events hosted to date include Strategy & Tactics, Delivery Analysis, Ladies Coaching Days and Masterclasses however we are happy to discuss any ideas you have. We have already scheduled in a variety of seminars across the country for the 2018/19 Season, follow this link to find a seminar near you!

If you are interested in hosting an event or support for development, please contact Iain Stewart to discuss potential dates and requests. Scottish Curling can support affiliated clubs with promotional material, content and provision of qualified coaches.

Adult Camp
The annual Scottish Curling Adult Camp is hosted over a weekend and offers a more intensive coaching programme with the added bonus of increased 1:1 coaching time. The Adult Camp is high in demand so book your place early.

Try Curling
If you’d like to try curling for the first time you’ll find everything you need here to get started including the latest taster sessions and beginners classes taking place across Scotland.

Beginners Classes
Beginner Classes give you the confidence and skills to play curling if you’ve never curled before or have previously enjoyed a Try Curling session. Each course lasts a total of approximately 6-8 hours and are available in a range of options including weekend sessions or four week blocks. Beginner Classes are delivered by Scottish Curling qualified coaches.

Virtual Clubs
‘Virtual Clubs’ are open to all new curlers who have attended a Beginners Class and are a good introduction to the club environment, allowing you to play regularly with curlers at the same level, meet new people and try out different team positions with the support of a qualified coach. Members may also get the opportunity to play in inter club competitions and the National Virtual Club Bonspiel.Virtual Clubs are a relatively new concept and are being established in more and more ice rinks across the country, look out for one near you.
