Curling featured at St Charles Primary Health Week

St Charles’ Primary School, Cambuslang, brought curling into the school as part of their Health Week activities. Primaries 1 to 3 participated in indoor curling sessions led by RCCC coaches whilst primaries 4 to 7 received a presentation from two very special guests; current Paralympic bronze medallist, Angie Malone,  and current World Junior Curling Silver Medallist, Rachel Hannen. Pupils heard how Angie and Rachel prepare for competitions, including a look at nutrition, and were given the chance to try on their medals too!

St Charles’ Primary is one of the many schools that participates in the RCCC Curling’s Cool programme, providing primary 6 pupils with an introduction to curling basics on-ice.
