FIRST QUICK CURLING EVENT HELD IN COLLABORATION WITH HENDRICK’S GIN

Curling, gin, and socialising! 30 curlers took to the ice to compete in Scottish Curling’s first quick curling event which was kindly sponsored by Hendrick’s Gin.

All games were tight and the final came down to a draw shot challenge to determine the winner. A bite of the button gave victory to the G & T-Line squad of Maggie Wilson, Claire Sloan, and David Owen.

The group were also treated to a lovely gin tasting evening hosted by Hendrick’s. This surely was the highlight for most and offered a great chance to meet new people and socialise over a nice gin cocktail.

Development manager for South West Scotland and event organiser Scott Andrews appreciated afterwards: ‘A massive thank you to all the members who took part, and to Graham and his team at the Ice Bowl for making great ice and tending the bar.
