INTERNATIONAL WHEELCHAIR CURLING RETURNS TO THE PEAK, STIRLING 18 TO 21 OCTOBER
Eight teams are set to take to the ice at the Stirling Wheelchair Curling International which returns to the Peak, Stirling from 18 to 21 October.
The line-up consists of teams from British Curling, England, and Stirling along with overseas entries from three-times winners Norway, Estonia, Italy, Latvia, and Switzerland. Many teams will feature fresh line-ups as they begin the new Paralympic cycle and look to build towards the next World Wheelchair Curling Championship which is to be held in Vancouver, Canada in March 2023.

Jostein Stordahl of Norway has won the Stirling Wheelchair Curling International three times.
Harry Brodie of the organising committee said: ‘This is our first chance to stage the competition since the global pandemic forced us to cancel the event in 2020 and 2021. It will be great to have this tournament back on the ice! There is an excellent curling facility at the Peak and we hope that all the teams enjoy their experience at the rink and in the City of Stirling.’
Game times are 10am and 2.30pm from Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 October with the final round robin session scheduled for 9.30am on Friday 21 October. Spectators are welcome and entry is free, so please come along and watch some world class wheelchair curling.
