Safeguarding and Protecting Children workshop

Dates have been announced for the next Safeguarding & Protecting Children workshops in January & February. This is the sportscotland official, national course for those working regularly with children.

It’s a one day course, which comes with Course Book and Attendance Certificate.  Many sports already have attendance as a compulsory component of Coach accreditation.

The Royal Caledonian Curling Club has its own Accredited Course Tutor, Pam Mackay, enabling increased access to this course in a curling sport-specific environment.

This year, the RCCC is again providing opportunities to complete this training course. It is open to all RCCC members, but is specifically aimed at coaches.
