FINAL
Team Whyte were first on the board with a single before, following a blank end, Team J Craik gained an advantage with a three in the third end. Answering with a two though, Team Whyte levelled the scores again. The sides traded singles until End 8 when Team Whyte managed a two for the upper hand. Team J Craik blanked the ninth and scored one in the tenth to take the game to a tense extra end. Proceedings culminated in Team J Craik playing a hit and roll to lie two with their last stones, leaving Team Whyte with a full four foot draw for a point and the win. Their stone came to rest just as it was meant to, giving Team Whyte a 7-6 win and the national title.
SEMI-FINAL
Team J Craik had a great start to the game, scoring three in the opening end and forcing Team Mouat to one in the next. While they were forced themselves in the next end, they followed it up with a steal of three and another two successive single steals. On 9-1, Team Mouat conceded the game after just six ends with an exception provision.

Team Whyte came out firing versus Team J Craik in the 1v2 page, following an early score of two up with two successive steals to lead 5-0 after four ends. From there, they controlled things and bagged a 7-3 win and with that a place in the final after the minimum eight ends.
Meanwhile in the 3v4 game, Team Mouat had the brighter start versus Team Waddell with scores of three in the first and four in the third end that gave them a massive advantage early on. Team Waddell soldiered on, but there was no way back into the game for them and they admitted defeat on 9-5 after nine ends.
DRAW 9
Team Whyte had a flying start to their fixture versus Team R Craik, leading by five points after just two ends. A score of another five points followed in End 5 and handshakes were exchanged after a blank sixth end, 10-1 the final scoreline. With this win, Team Whyte finish the round robin unbeaten and top of the table standings.
A calm start to the game saw Team Thomson score a single point in End 1 versus Team Cameron. However, steals in the next three ends followed to give them an advantage that they never looked back from and that set them up for a 7-3 win.
Team O Carson had the brighter start and were leading Team Swanston 5-2 at the break. However, Team Swanston opened the second half with a deuce and when they followed it up with a steal of three, they suddenly were in the lead. Another two single steals followed and Team Swanston bagged their first win of the championship on 9-5.
Team J Craik started their fixture versus Team Mouat with a two in the first end that kept them in a slender lead for a while with the sides trading singles. Another two followed in End 8 and when Team J Craik stole one in the ninth, Team Mouat opted to concede on 7-3. This meant Team J Craik rose to second in the table standings with Team Mouat sitting third.
DRAW 8
Team J Craik earned themselves an early finish with a flawless display versus Team Swanston. They followed a score of three in End 4 up with a steal of four that left no way back into the game for Team Swanston who offered handshakes on 9-2.
The fixture between Team Whyte and Team Mouat was fairly evenly matched to start with. However, Team Whyte tipped proceedings in their favour with a four in End 5. When they started the second half with two successive steals, Team Mouat opted to concede, 8-2 the final scoreline.
Team O Carson found an edge over Team Cameron with a four in End 4 and although the game went on for nine ends, they never looked back and secured an 8-5 finish.
Team Waddell and Team R Craik were level on points at the break, but Team Waddell had the brighter restart, scoring deuces while holding their opponents to a single. After nine ends played, handshakes were exchanged with 8-4 on the board.
DRAW 7
Team Whyte started their fixture versus Team Swanston with a massive four points in the first end and never looked back from there. Handshakes were exchanged after six ends, 9-2 the final score.
After a blank opening end, Team Mouat were first to score versus Team Waddell, getting a two on the board. They stole singles in the next three ends and a one-point score from Team Waddell to open the second half wasn’t enough to open the game back up. 5-1 stood as the final result.
The game between Team O Carson and Team J Craik went back and forth with no more than a point ever separating the sides. A great force in End 10 from Team O Carson took proceedings to an extra end where, coming down with hammer, the home side clinched a point for a 6-5 win.
Also going all the way to an extra end was the game between Team R Craik and Team Thomson who had stolen a point in End 10 to level the scores. Coming down with hammer Team R Craik played a neat end for a point and a 7-6 win.
DRAW 6
Team Waddell earned themselves an early finish with a flawless performance versus Team Cameron. Scoring big points in almost every end, they clinched a 9-2 win after six.
Similarly, Team Mouat were flying versus Team Carson. A three to start the game set them en route to a 7-1 triumph after six ends.
The fixture between Team Thomson and Team Swanston, in contrast, took all 10 ends to be decided. It was all square after seven ends, but Team Thomson took the advantage with a massive score of four in End 8. Team Swanston did fight back with a score of two followed by a single steal, but it wasn’t enough to reel their opponents back in, 8-7 the final scoreline.
Team Whyte and Team J Craik took their game even one step further with the first extra end of the championship. The sides kept responding to each other’s scores with no more than a point ever separating them. Team J Craik played an excellent hit and roll for one in End 10 to equalise and take proceedings to an extra end where, coming down with hammer, Team Whyte manged things well to score two and sneak victory on 10-8.
DRAW 5
Team J Craik earned themselves an early evening with a commanding display versus Team Cameron. Up 3-1 after three ends, they stole in the next three to bag an 8-1 win.
Similarly, Team Whyte repetitively followed their scores up with single steals to grind out an advantage versus Team Thomson. Handshakes were exchanged after eight ends and a final scoreline of 6-2.
Team Mouat made the difference in the first half, scoring four in End 2 and following it up with successive single steals. Team R Craik fought back, but could not quite find a way back into the game, offering handshakes on 9-4 after eight ends.
Meanwhile, the fixture between Team Waddell and Team O Carson went the distance of all ten ends. Team Waddell had the brighter start and controlled things from there but couldn’t quite get their opponents out of striking distance. However, a steal of at least two was required from Team O Carson in the last end and when that did not materialise, Team Waddell bagged the win on 7-4.
DRAW 4
The fixture between Team Mouat and Team Cameron got off to a fairly even start. However, Team Mouat took a big three points in End 5 that they never looked back from to take an 8-3 win.
Team R got off to a great start versus Team Swanston, leading 4-0 after three ends. Team Swanston found some momentum in the late stages with a score of two in End 8 followed by a steal of two, but the damage was already done and the win was Team R Craik’s on 7-5.
Elsewhere, Team J Craik had the brighter start, but Team Thomson never allowed them to run away with the game. However, up by a point and coming down with hammer in the last end, Team J Craik had the edge for a 6-4 success.
All eyes were on the fixture between yet unbeaten sides Team Whyte and Team Waddell. The teams kept trading scores and there was nothing to separate them after seven ends. Team Whyte scored three in the eighth end and this time, Team Waddell could only respond with a two. Now in the driving seat, Team Whyte played a neat 10th end and bagged a point for an 8-6 win.
DRAW 3
Down to three men, Team Mouat faced a tough match versus Team Thomson who were leading by a point after four ends. However, Team Mouat got a four on the board in the fifth and when, after a couple of blanks, they stole two, handshakes were exchanged at 10-5.
Elsewhere, Team O Carson looked in control versus Team R Craik, building an advantage with single steals before a three set them on the way to an 8-3 win.
Team Cameron opened their fixture with a three which, after a couple of blanks, was equalised by Team Swanston. Things remained all square until End 9 when Team Cameron added a three and there was no way back for Team Swanston at 8-5.
The match between Team Waddell and Team J Craik was tight as expected with nothing separating the teams after seven ends. A two for Team J Craik in End 8 proved the difference in the end with singles being traded in the last two and 6-3 the final scoreline.
DRAW 2
Team Waddell were off to a flyer with a score of four versus Team Thomson in End 1 and never looked back from there to secure an 8-2 win.
Similarly, Team R Craik started their fixture with a score and followed it up with two successive steals of three. Team Cameron couldn’t find a way back into the game and offered handshakes after eight ends at 11-3.
In contrast, there was no separating Teams Whyte and O Carson for most of their fixture. End 8 proved the difference when Team Whyte stole two and tipped proceedings in their favour for a 7-3 win.
Team Swanston gave Team Mouat a good run for their money and it was all square after six ends. Team Mouat got the blank in End 7 and with that the momentum for an 8-6 victory.
DRAW 1
The fixture between Team Waddell and Team Swanston got off to a slow start with plenty of blanks and no more than deuces on the board. However, Team Waddell scoring five in End 7 caused early handshakes at 8-2.
Next door, Team O Carson looked in control versus Team Thomson throughout and chipped away to 7-2 win after seven ends.
Team Cameron kept Team Whyte honest for the longest time, but the latter did have the edge and recorded an 8-2 victory.
Similarly, Team R Craik, down to three men in the absence of their skip, did not let Team J Craik run away with it. Last season’s runners-up were in control though and brought a 6-2 result over the line.
