MEN’S FINAL
After a blank opening end, Team McMillan took the upper hand over Team Cormack in the men’s final, scoring a two while holding their opponents to a single. A three for Team McMillan followed with a two for Team Cormack in the next unable to cut down the gap. A single in End 6 was enough to extend Team McMillan’s advantage and after a blank seventh, the sides went into the last end separated by three points. With the points advantage on their side, Team McMillan arithmetically eliminated their opponents for a 6-3 win.
WOMEN’S FINAL
Singles were traded to start off the women’s final between Team Thomson and Team Lockhart. After a blank third, another single went Team Thomson’s way and Team Lockhart managed to take the lead when they responded with a deuce. Once more, a single went to Team Thomson in the sixth to equalise and Team Lockhart blanked End 7 to maintain hammer. However, Team Thomson played an excellent last end and stole a single point that decided the game 4-3 in their favour.
MEN’S SEMI-FINALS
Team McMillan held Team Kennedy at bay, scoring twos while forcing singles. Team Kennedy cut their disadvantage to just a point with a single steal in End 6, but Team McMillan responded by blanking the seventh to maintain hammer and bag a one for a 5-3 win in the eighth.
Tied on a point each after the first half, Team Cormack made the difference versus Team Connal in the second half. A score of two in End 5 gave them the advantage and a steal of the same number in the sixth had them in control. There was no way back for Team Connal and 5-1 stood as the final result.
MEN’S QUARTER-FINALS
Team Duff were first on the board with a single, but Team Kennedy answered with a three to take the advantage. When they followed it up with two steals, their lead became insurmountable and handshakes were exchanged after seven ends, 8-3 the final scoreline.
There wasn’t much separating Team Cormack and Team Wilson for most of the game. However, four points in End 7 eventually decided proceedings in Team Cormack’s favour, giving them a 7-2 win.
WOMEN’S DRAW 5
Team Thomson had the brighter start, but Team Paul fought back and were trailing by just a point after five ends. Deuces were traded before, coming down with hammer, Team Thomson took another two in End 8 to clinch an 8-5 win.
Team Lockhart and Team Wyllie were tied after three ends, but when Team Lockhart stole four in the third, they achieved an insurmountable advantage. 10-5 stood as the final result after seven ends.
MEN’S DRAW 5
Team Robbie and Team MacDougall were tied on points after six ends. Using their hammer advantage, Team MacDougall took two in End 7 and arithmetically eliminated their opponent in the eighth for a 7-5 win.
A score of six in End 4 decided the game early in Team Connal’s favour, Team Wilson offering handshakes on 9-1 and the sides not returning to the ice for the second half.
It was all square at the break between Team Duff and Team Sands before the latter opened the second half with a three. However, while Team Duff could only answer with a two initially, they followed it up with a steal of five that decided the game 10-6.
Team Chalmers gradually chipped away versus Team Joss, collecting some single steals that led them to a 5-2 win.
Team McMillan and Team Cormack were tied on points after six ends, but the former found an extra gear in the crucial stages. Scoring two and stealing one, Team McMillan bagged a 5-2 win.
Also making the difference in the late stages, Team Kennedy scored two in End 6 and followed it up with a single steal, prompting Team Prentice to offer handshakes on 6-2.
WOMEN’S DRAW 4
Team Wyllie took the advantage with steals in Ends 4 and 5. Eventually, Team Paul offered handshakes after seven ends on an 8-4 scoreline.
Similarly, Team Thomson were in the driving seat when they followed a score of three up with two steals. With six ends played and 7-2 on the board, Team Lockhart conceded.

After multiple blanks and singles only, Team Connal and Team Robbie were tied on points with one end to go. Coming down with hammer, Team Connal secured a deuce for a 4-2 win.
Team Duff took an advantage over Team MacDougall in the first half, scoring multiples while forcing singles, and never looked back from there. After seven ends, handshakes were exchanged on 8-4.
While Team Wilson started the game with a three, Team Sands fought back and things were all square again at the break. It all came down to the last end where Team Wilson used the hammer advantage for a point and a 6-5 win.
Team Cormack took the upper hand of their fixture versus Team Joss with a big score of three at the restart. When they repeated the feat in End 7, handshakes were exchanged and 8-2 stood as the result.
Team Chalmers and Team Kennedy kept matching each other’s scores, meaning there was nothing separating them with two ends to go. A deuce for Team Kennedy in End 7 would prove the difference in the end when they forced their opponents to a single in the eighth and snatched a 7-6 win.

Meanwhile, Team Lockhart had the brighter start, but Team Wyllie didn’t give up and came back from being four points down at one point to the scores sitting level with an end to go. Coming down with hammer, Team Lockhart made no mistake to bag a point and a 7-6 win.

Team Connal and Team Sands were tied on a point each at the break. However, Team Connal found an extra gear at the restart, scoring three and stealing two, that Team Sands could do little to stop. 6-2 stood as the result after seven ends.
Team Robbie had the brighter start versus Team Duff and carried a slight advantage through until, finally, capping things off with a three in End 7 that decided the game 8-2.
There was nothing separating Team MacDougall and Team Wilson at the break. A quiet second half saw the former lead by a point with one end to go, but, coming down with hammer, Team Wilson played a neat end for two points and a 5-4 win.
Team Cormack took an edge over Team Prentice when they followed a score of three in the fourth up with a steal of two in the fifth end. Team Prentice couldn’t find a way back into the game and offered handshakes after seven ends on an 8-3 score.
Team Kennedy and Team Joss were tied on points at the break. Going into the second half, Team Kennedy opened with a single score and followed it up with steals to build an advantage and eventually take a 6-3 win.

Team Thomson bounced back from a narrow defeat in the previous session the best possible way, stealing singles in the opening four ends to lead Team Lockhart 4-0. There was no way to turn the fixture around from there, 8-2 the final scoreline.
Team Paul too had an excellent start and led Team Wyllie 4-1 at the break. However, a second half comeback meant it was all square again after eight and proceedings went to an extra end. Coming down with hammer, Team Paul showed an excellent display and bagged three points for an 8-5 win.

Team Connal and Team Duff were tied on points after five ends, promising an exciting finish to the game. However, when Team Connal followed a score of two up with a steal of three, handshakes were exchanged with an end to spare after all, 10-5 the final scoreline.
Team Wilson took control early, scoring multiples twice compared to Team Robbie’s single in the first three ends. They didn’t look back to take a 7-2 win after six ends.
Team Sands had the brighter start versus Team MacDougall and were still leading by a point at the break. However, Team MacDougall went on an incredible run in the second half, scoring two first before stealing in the next three ends, including a massive five in End 8 that sealed a 12-3 result.
Singles only went on the board in the Team McMillan versus Team Joss fixture. The sides were tied after six, but two consecutive steals in the last two ends gave Team Joss a 5-3 win.
It took an extra end to decide the game between Team Prentice and Team Chalmers who had kept cancelling each other out. Coming down with hammer, Team Chalmers made no mistakes to bag two points and an 8-6 win.

While Team Kennedy managed to add a single to their tally in End 6, Team Cormack blanked the seventh to maintain hammer and secured a deuce in the last end to clinch a 6-5 win.

Defending champions Team Connal had an excellent start to their 2024 campaign with a 10-3 win over Team MacDougall. A score of four in the third end set them up nicely and they never looked back from there.
Team Robbie had the brighter start versus Team Sands and were leading 4-0 after three ends. However, a spirited comeback followed that almost paid off in the end, Team Robbie just sneaking the win by 6-5.
Team Duff took an edge over Team Wilson with a stolen two in the second end and managed their advantage for a 6-3 win.
Over in Section B, a score of five in the third end gave Team McMillan a massive advantage that Team Kennedy never managed to recover from, 8-5 the final scoreline.
In contrast, Team Cormack and Team Chalmers were tied on points after six ends. Team Cormack struck with a score of two in End 7 and followed it up with a stolen two in the eighth to clinch a 7-3 win.
Team Prentice and Team Joss had been trading singles for the first five ends until Team Prentice finally found an edge with a stolen deuce in the sixth. From there, they brought a 6-2 win home.
