ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I am a keen novice curler, taking up the sport some 5 years ago. I’m a member of two clubs, Edzell and Forfar Ladies, enjoying lots of club curling and friendly local competitions, usually from my home rink of Forfar. I have attended the Adult camp in Stranraer which was great fun and would encourage all new curlers to attend. In November last year I organised for 14 members of Edzell to travel to Oslo, to take part in the Bydgoy Broomstack event. We had a great few days away, and met lots of wonderful curlers from all over Europe and America. I have been secretary for 3 years and Vice President for 1 in my mother club, Edzell. Curling has given me many new friends and opened up a whole new social world which I am keen to try and give back a little to. Curling is a fabulous sport, one of the few in which Scotland excels and we should be proud of our heritage as well as continuing to look forward to further success and accomplishments on the world stage.
