15th-18th November, Curl Aberdeen
Scotland’s representative at the 2019 World Junior B Curling Championship will be determined this weekend at Curl Aberdeen. Four teams will contest a double round robin ahead of a final series on Sunday. Team Davie, current leader of the Asham Under 21 Slam Leaderboard are joined by Team Farmer, Kinross Junior Classic Champions. Last season’s Junior Championship silver medalists Team Bryce will look to recapture their good Aberdeen form are their third team in the mix leaving Team Henderson who earned their way into this playdown through their early season form in the Asham Slams.

Asham Under 14 Slam
17th November, intu Braehead
The second Asham Under 14 slam takes place this weekend at intu Braehead. These events are aimed at some of our youngest curlers and shorter 4-end games give them a chance to play against new faces and grow as a team. Forfar Champions Team Carson will look to keep up their strong start to the season and win a second slam in a row, but the rest of the will look to thwart their efforts and earn valuable points on the Asham Leaderboard. Teams will play in 4 sections of four before splitting off into the high and low road.

Le Gruyère AOP European Curling Championships
16th-24th November, Tallinn, Estonia
International curling returns to Estonia this weekend as Tallinn plays host to the European Curling Championships. Returning to the scene of his first international medal is Scotland men’s skip Bruce Mouat. His team will be looking to build on their world bronze medal in Las Vegas and will surely set their sights on gold. Their first game is on Saturday morning, a stern test against Norway who are skipped by Stefan Walstad.
Eve Muirhead and her team head to Estonia as defending European Champions and even with new team members and a skip recovered from injury, Scotland will be a team to watch. Eve will be hoping to extend her remarkable run of 8 consecutive European medals. Denmark provide Scotland’s first opposition ahead of a televised early-morning game on Sunday against Sweden.
