Asham Under 21 Slam Series Entry Form
The Leaderboard will be updated after each event. Where 2 or more teams are tied at the end of the season the below rules apply to determine ranking:
- Highest number of competition wins
- Highest number of finishes in the points
- Highest number of competitions entered

The Asham Under 21 Slam series will be played over four events in the 2024 – 2025 season at: Greenacres, Lockerbie, Stranraer and Curl Aberdeen. Points are awarded after each slam with the top male and female teams with the most points winning the overall £1,000 Asham slam series prize at the end of the season. Through the Academy programme, there are development incentives for teams and their coach based on their placing in the Under 21 slam leader board. All members of the winning male and female teams will each be awarded an automatic place into the Scottish Curling academy programme in 2025/26 season. * *Subject to eligibility and athlete agreements being signed. |

| Eligibility | ||
| – Teams should consist of four eligible male or female players. – All team members must be less than 21 years of age by the 30th of June of the year in which the first Under 21 Slam event is due to take place. – All team members must be members of Scottish Curling, with the exception of international entries. |

| Competitions | ||
| Slam 1: Greenacres Ice Rink (Junior Masters) – 27th – 29th Sep 2024 (10 male & Slam 2: Lockerbie 18th – 20th Oct 2024 (10 male & Slam 3: Stranraer 29th Nov – 1st Dec 2024 (10 male & Slam 4: Curl Aberdeen 14th – 16th Feb 2025 (10 male & FEMALE TEAMS: PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL OF THE FEMALE TEAM NUMBERS HAVE BEEN REACHED FOR FOR ALL SLAMS – ANY FURTHER TEAM WILL BE PLACED ONTO THE RESERVE LIST FOR THESE – please when completing the entry form select the reserve option and do not make payment if looking to be on the reserve list for the female teams within any of the slams. If you wish to be placed onto the reserve list for any competition that has already completely closed please email – competitions@scottishcurling.org with the slam that you are unable to enter on the entry form below. |

Slams will close earlier than dates noted if maximum numbers have been received. Slam 1: Greenacres 19th July 2024 – entries closed please email if you wish to be on the reserve list Scottish Curling reserves the right to extend the entry period should spaces be available. |

| Competition Rules | ||
| Competitors will at all times abide by the current Rules of the Game. All Asham rules can be found on each slam competition page. Including brush / pad rules and the no-tick rule. |

| £1000.00 will be awarded to the overall top male and female teams after the 4 slam event Prizes will be provided to:
International teams are eligible for prizes specific to each event but will not gain points contributing to the overall prize money or Academy incentives. |

| Code of Conduct | ||
| This event is covered by the Scottish Curling Codes of Conduct for players and their associates (coaches, parents and supporters) as well as the rules of the game and of the competition. By entering a team and completing this online form the team and all their associates agree to abide and be bound by them. The Code of Conduct can be found in Rules of the Game. Any breaches of the Code of Conduct may be dealt with under the Scottish Curling disciplinary procedures and guidelines. |

| All entrants shall be deemed to have made themselves familiar with and agreed to be bound by the Anti-Doping Rules of Scottish Curling and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules. The Anti-Doping Rules of Scottish Curling apply to entrants participating in the sport of Curling, for 12 months from the date of entry, whether or not the entrant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.
