Assistant Coach Accreditation paperwork

Accreditation process for Trainee Assistant Coaches (TAC).

At the recent Standardisation & Facilitation Group meeting, it was agreed that the evidence paperwork for TAC should be modified.

Once a candidate has attended the Assistant Coach course, a minimum 10 hrs practical coaching experience with a qualified coach is required. TAC candidates are currently asked to submit a log of ten hours coaching with a minimum of 4 session plans. To provide evidence of good practice that has been demonstrated to them or what elements the trainee has delivered, a quick session review has been added to the paperwork which should be submitted alongside the 4 session plans.
