BRITISH CURLING LAUNCH NEW PARA ATHLETES RECRUITMENT CAMPAIGN

British Curling have launched ‘It’s Time To Deliver – Push Yourself’, an exciting UK-wide Paralympic Pathway Recruitment Campaign aligned to the 2026 Winter Paralympic Milan Cortina cycle and beyond. Wheelchair users from across the UK are invited to get on the ice and give curling a go.

The new campaign fits into a long-term para strategy aimed at enabling newcomers to the game and providing the opportunity to progress as far as their potential and ambition may take them within the sport. A duo of introductory Wheelchair TryCurling events will take place north and south of the border in the coming weeks. Anyone interested is invited to register via the QR code on the below flyers.

• Scotland – Thursday 26th October 2023, The Peak Ice Rink, Stirling*
• England – Friday 3rd November 2023, The Flower Bowl, Preston*

*Timings will be allocated to individuals post registration (one to two hour slot time on ice), with the introductory events spanning across 10am – 2pm each day

Recruitment is open to wheelchair users 16+ and all ability levels are welcomed. No experience is required, only a drive to be committed, passionate and to develop your talent within the sport of wheelchair curling. Talent Transfer athletes are welcome and Dual Code opportunities are open to be explored.
