Drummond and Kyle Confirmed to Represent Scotland at World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship

Fresh from their Scottish Mixed Doubles Championship triumph, Vicky Drummond and Euan Kyle have been confirmed to represent Scotland at the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Lohja, Finland, from 4–10 January 2027.

The exciting news follows the pair’s outstanding unbeaten performance at the Ambassador Cruise Line Scottish Curling Mixed Doubles Championship in Aberdeen, which concluded on 4 October.

Drummond and Kyle were in impressive form throughout the competition, topping their round-robin section before securing an emphatic 11–3 semi-final victory over Jennifer Dodds and Orrin Carson.

They carried that momentum into the final against Katie McMillan and Archie Hyslop, racing into an 8–1 lead before their opponents conceded after five ends, sealing a memorable Scottish title.

For Olympic gold medallist Drummond, the selection marks another exciting chapter in her return to competitive curling following her success at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

Scottish Curling congratulates Vicky and Euan on their selection and wishes them every success as they prepare to proudly fly the Saltire in Lohja.
