Feeling like a throwback? No problem…

We’re all set for a bumper weekend of legendary curling throwbacks with two of Team GB’s Olympic medal winning games being shown this weekend on the BBC Scotland channel and on the BBC iPlayer.

The magnificent 2002 Salt Lake City gold medal game with Rhona Howie (Martin) as skip will be featured on Friday evening at 7.15pm, with Team Eve Muirhead’s bronze medal win in Sochi being aired on Sunday at the same time.

With us all missing out on the current Olympic coverage, and the uncertainty over when we will be able to return to the ice, why not get your teammates or some members of your club together (either in person at a distance, or virtually) and relive these two epic moments of Scottish Curling and Team GB glory, reminding the world who brought them the roarin’ game.
