Four Nations – January 2027 | Curlers Wanted

We are looking for curlers to represent Scotland at the Four Nations competition, taking place from 29th–31st January 2027. Ireland is this year’s host nation, with the competition scheduled to be held at Stranraer Ice Rink.

The Four Nations is a friendly and social weekend tournament bringing together curlers representing the governing bodies of the four home nations – England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

The competition has a long history, with the first recorded games between England and Scotland dating back to 1893. Wales joined in 1984, followed by Ireland in 1996. Today, the tournament is hosted in rotation by each of the four nations and traditionally takes place towards the end of January.

Applications are open to all Scottish Curling members aged 16 and over, with opportunities to compete in men’s, women’s and mixed teams. All applicants must be fully paid-up members of Scottish Curling.

The closing date for applications is 30th September 2026.

Please note that curlers selected to compete in the Four Nations are responsible for covering their own expenses, including ice fees, accommodation and travel.
