Foxglide-ing to success with Scottish Curling
Leading Scottish based sportswear brand Foxglide is delighted to confirm the continuation of their sponsorship partnership with Scottish Curling and in particular the Academy programme. Foxglide has equipped Team Scotland with the highest quality of performance clothing since 2012 and works closely with the coaches and athletes as they continue to develop the brand.
Focusing on curling, Foxglide supplies team wear to 15 international teams in addition to a number of the world’s leading players.
This year’s support will help fund the Scottish Curling Academy to send a junior team to the 2020 “Unofficial” Mixed Doubles Championship, from 22 – 26 April which is part of the Foxglide sponsored Nordic Junior Curling Tour (NJCT).
The NJCT hosts events in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland with the aim of developing junior curling teams in a fun but competitive environment. Entries for all NJCT events are welcome from any country and offer a great opportunity for teams to play against international competition.

Teams from Scotland will join seven leading counties including Switzerland, Canada, USA and off course Sweden in a very high calibre event.
Scottish Qualification for this year’s event, which will be at Sundbyberg Curling Klub, the home club of Anna Hasselborg, reigning World Mixed Doubles Champion and Olympic Gold winner, takes place at Edinburgh Curling Club on 28-29 March. The winner and second place team will both qualify for entry; the first placed team will be supported by The Matt Murdoch Curling Foundation and the runners up will be supported by Scottish Curling. Please contact Rachel Dakers for more information about this event. racheldakers@aol.com

Both teams will be supplied unique bespoke Foxglide team uniforms which are manufactured using fabric 100% manufactured from recycled plastic bottles.
