LGT World Men’s Curling Championship 2020 – Volunteer Programme

Applications to the LGT World Men’s Curling Championship 2020 Volunteer Programme have now closed. We have been delighted with the response to the programme and are confident that we have appointed an enthusiastic dedicated team to support the Championship later this year.

If you applied to the programme then you should by now have heard back from the team at Glasgow Life regarding your application.

Generic Volunteers

Successful candidates, those offered a place on the reserve list and unsuccessful candidates were sent an email on 17 December.

Sport Specific Volunteers

Successful candidates were sent an email on 17 December. Those who were unsuccessful or on the reserve list were sent an email on 9 January.

We would like to emphasise that there is only a small number of roles available and with the large numbers of experienced curlers who applied to be part of the Championship it was always going to be an extremely difficult decision making process. Thank you to everyone who took the time to apply to be part of the Championship – it really is very much appreciated.
