New Championship Low Road introduced for 2026/27 Men’s & Women’s Scottish Championships
Scottish Curling is introducing a new Championship Low Road event as part of the 2026/27 Men’s and Women’s Scottish Championships, creating an exciting new opportunity for teams to compete for the title of Low Road Champions and prize money.
The new format will provide teams with an additional championship’s pathway for success, ensuring exciting games throughout the event and the chance to become the Low Road Champions.
With the introduction of this Low Road format the winning team will receive £500 prize money (per gender), adding an extra incentive to compete right through to the final stone. This prize money replaces the money previously awarded to the highest up non funded team.
The 2026/27 season marks the beginning of this exciting new chapter for Scottish Curling’s National Championships.
