The Scottish Curling Junior Mixed Doubles Championship is an exciting championship within the Junior category with teams competing for the title.

Eligibility
– Teams must be mixed (1 male and 1 female)
– All teams members must be members of a Scottish Curling
– All team members must be less than 21 years of age by the end of the 30th day of June of the year immediately preceding the season in which the competition takes place.

Dumfries –  20th – 23rd March 2025
Entry Fees
  • £160.00 per team

NOTE: A payment of £160.00 will be required upon submission of this entry.  Please ensure you have a valid payment card ready.  All cards are accepted with the exception of American Express and Diners Club.

Scottish Curling reserves the right to extend the entry period should spaces be available.

Rules
Competitors will at all times abide by the current Rules of the Game.
(b)  Championship – May be comprised of league sections.
(c)  In all round robin games the method of scoring will be one point awarded for each win.  Neither shots nor ends shall affect the ranking.
(d)  In the event of a lie in any game and extra end or ends shall be played to determine a winner.
(e)  Where two or more teams are tied for a qualifying position ranking shall be determined in accordance with C9: Ranking Procedure and Draw Shot Advantage/Challenge.
(f)  All games are normally 8 ends; a minimum of 5 ends must be completed.
(g)  Not more than one substitute from each gender shall be permitted in the entire competition.  Every game must include one player from the nominated team. WCF sweeping regulations will be enforced for this competition.**Subject to change upon finalising Scottish Curling Rulebook in September**
Code of Conduct
This event is covered by the Scottish Curling Codes of Conduct for players and their associates (coaches, parents, supporters) as well as the rules of the game and of the competition.  By entering a team and completing this online form the team and all their associates agree to abide and be bound by them.  The Code of Conduct can be found in the Rules of the Game.  Any breaches of the Code of Conduct may be dealt with under the Scottish Curling disciplinary procedures and guidelines.

UK Anti-Doping
All entrants shall be deemed to have made themselves familiar with and agreed to be bound by the Anti-Doping Rules of Scottish Curling and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules.
The Anti-Doping Rules of Scottish Curling apply to entrants participating in the sport of Curling, for 12 months from the date of entry, whether or not the entrant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.
