STIRLING WHEELCHAIR CURLING INTERNATIONAL: BRITISH CURLING AND CANADA HEADLINE PRESTIGIOUS EVENT
The 8th Stirling Wheelchair Curling International will be held at the Peak from 17 to 20 October 2023. Recent World Championship medalists British Curling and Canada will headline the prestigious tournament.
The event, hosted by Stirling Wheelchair Curling Club, will feature 10 international teams who will compete over four days. Joining British Curling and Canada, who will both field two teams, are two teams from USA plus England, Italy, Poland, and Switzerland. Game times are 10am and 2.30pm from Tuesday to Thursday with the finals scheduled for 9.30am on Friday 20 October.
Andy Hemming, chair of the event, said: ‘Once again, we have assembled a top class field which we hope will give all the teams a rewarding experience as they build toward the 2024 World Championships in Korea. Entry is free and spectators are welcome to come along and watch some of the best wheelchair curlers in the world display their great skills and accuracy and hopefully you will be inspired.’
