Working groups on Branding and selection formed
Further to our call for participants last month, we are pleased to announce our two working groups; one focused on branding and logos the other focused on Scottish team selection have now been formed.
These have been convened as short-life working groups, and will be meeting soon to discuss these two very important topics.
Logos and Branding Working Group
The purpose of this group is to consider where “Royal Caledonian Curling Club” and “Scottish Curling” branding and logos should be used in documents, correspondence, social and mainstream media, clothing and marketing materials.
The group will provide recommendations to the board for a marketing and branding strategy to ensure consistency of usage of our brands.
The group have issued a survey open to all members, fans, curlers and supporters. It can be found here.

Selection Working Group
The purpose of the Selection Working Group is to consider the issues relating to how RCCC will determine which teams will represent Scotland at future Women’s, Men’s and Mixed Doubles World Curling Championships after season 2020/21.
The aim of the Selection Working Group will be to provide a report to the board outlining the different options and recommendations that will inform future selection policy decisions.

The Selection working group has its first meeting next week; one of the first tasks is to look at a comprehensive consultation on the topic for members.
