Club member recruitment: Village Hall Try Curling
Many of our clubs actually hail from locations some way from their ice rink. This of course goes back to when winter’s were more frequently ‘harsh’ and led to much more outdoor curling than we see today.
The Village Hall Try Curling initiative is built around an off ice, fun and hospitable first taste of curling and your club utilising Floor Curling equipment.
Look out your music playlist, maybe even a big screen and projector to show some great curling moments (Salt Lake City 2002, Sochi 2014!) and have some good company and good coffee as well and then try and convert as many attendees into on ice Try Curlers and see how many you can get hooked on the Roaring Game!
